Shop Small Saturday

Supporting local businesses has been a passion of mine for years.  Not only do you build a relationship and often times friendship with the business owners, there is a sense of community not present when shopping at large chain stores.

When Shop Small Saturday kicked off a few years ago, I introduced Lola Boutique - Santa Barbara based Women's clothing and accessories to the concept. One of the first Santa Barbara locations to participate, it is thrilling to see so many local businesses taking advantage of the cross promotional opportunities!

This year two of our clients, The Pasta Shoppe  and Camp Canine  are participating in Shop Small Saturday.

A Presto - A new website for The Pasta Shoppe

It's no secret working with food clients has serious perks, menu sampling, editor lunches and well more menu sampling. The Pasta Shoppe, opened April 2014 in The Santa Barbara Public Market bringing together a team of Internationally Trained team members.

In the rush to get opened, the owner, Diane Harding put together a website herself and after the dust settled we sought to create a simple, clean website highlighting the Pasta and team.

A weekend with Rolls Royce & O'gara Coach Westlake

Last weekend was filled with events here at MWQPR, Friday night kicked off at El Fureidis a.k.a. The Scarface Mansion with O'Gara Coach Westlake launching two new Rolls Royce Models.  The event brought out the elite who were unable to attend Pebble Beach the week before.

With exclusive previews of the newest Drophead Coupe (there are under 39 in the world) and only 7 remain un-sold. Guests walked through the beautiful estate, sampling local wines and spirits from Cutler Distillery.

The estate was founded in 1906 by James Waldron Gillespie, a visionary hailing from New York who came to the West Coast looking for a location with a landscape and a climate that rivaled that of the Mediterranean. Originally known as a botanic garden, the estate boasts 10 acres of exceptional grounds offering the utmost in privacy and a variety of trees, many of which are over 100 years old. The Property is for sale and  currently listed by Emily Kellenberger .
